Walk For A Cure - Edinburgh

The Curly Crew are taking part in Walk For A Cure

The girls and I are taking part in Walk For A Cure because we want to help end the devastation of dementia and raise awareness of this horrible condition.

Earlier this, the effects of dementia truly hit home when Hettie and Iris’ grandpa was officially diagnosed. It has robbed him of his memories, relationships and his dignity. In many ways, the girls have already lost their loving, caring grandpa, but by doing this walk which takes place on his birthday, we still have the chance to return just a small bit of the love he has shown us all throughout our lives.

I want the girls to learn that no matter how small they are, they can always make a big impact in life. Please can I ask you all consider making a donation so we can reach our target, in the hope one day a cure can be found and no more children will have their grandparents taken away by such a cruel illness.

Thank you for your support. ❤️
