Registration

Registration is now open for Roundhay Park! Secure your place today and be part of something special.

Route

Enjoy a beautiful walk through the parkland with this lovely 5km circular route. Walk around Waterloo and Upper Lake, past ancient woodland and spring gardens.

There's stunning views throughout as you follow the park’s scenic trails and cross the finish line to claim your well-deserved medal.

Accessibility

The fully signposted route is mostly on hardstanding path with some smaller sections on woodland terrain and grass. The route is accessible for both wheelchairs and pushchairs with assistance. Please note this route passes by a large body of water which may be unsuitable for some participants.

There will be volunteer marshals along the route to support you if needed.

Dogs

Dogs are welcome but must remain on a lead at all times.

Facilities

There are event toilets available next to the event village (including accessible loos) and rest-stops along the walk to support you if needed.

Food and drink will be available to purchase within the event village and you are welcome to bring your own refreshments.

How to get here

Leeds Railway Station is approximately three miles from Roundhay Park. The park is serviced by multiple bus lines.

Free event parking (8-10 minute walk from the start line) is available within Roundhay Park, accessible via West Avenue (off Park Avenue). To find the exact location use 'what3words':

There is limited paid parking adjacent to the Event Village on Mansion Lane.
