Route
The 5km circular route will begin at the Parade Ground adjacent to the Palace of Holyrood House. From here you head clockwise past St Margarets Loch and climb up past Dunspaie Loch. You'll continue a 360 degree circuit of the park, with views of Arthur's Seat above and panoramic views of the coastline, Edinburgh castle and the city itself before crossing the finish line to claim your well-deserved medal.
Accessibility
The fully signposted route has both grass and gravel terrains and is accessible for both wheelchairs and pushchairs with assistance. However, please be aware that this route does include a steep climb on tarmac surfaces and may not be suited to all.
There will be volunteer marshals along the route to support you if needed.
Dogs
Unfortunately, only assistance dogs can take part in the event.

I couldn’t recommend this walk enough for families young and old! We chatted, played with the kids and enjoyed being out in the fresh air for a change. It’s one of the easiest ways to give back to yourself, your mental health and your physical wellbeing.
