Route

Accessibility
The fully signposted route is mostly on hardstanding path with a smaller section on grass or drit paths with occasional tree roots. The route is accessible for pushchairs but not for wheelchairs.
There will be volunteer marshals along the route and rest stops to support you if needed.
Dogs
Dogs are welcome but must remain on a lead at all times.
Facilities
There are event toilets available next to the event village (including accessible loos) and rest-stops along the walk to support you if needed.
Food and drink will be available to purchase within the event village and you are welcome to bring your own refreshments.
How to get here
Redditch Railway Station is approximately a 7-minute taxi ride (≈2.3 miles) from the station to the park
If driving, please access the Park through the main entrance next to Lidl. The what3words for this is ///shape.twig.grab
Once through into the park follow Event Signage to where you will be directed by Event Marshals.

It was great to take part in the Walk For A Cure event and see so many people coming together determined to make their contribution to finding a cure for dementia. Participants included people living with a dementia, their carers and people, like me, remembering loved ones who had died with dementia. It was inspirational to see so many traveling many miles to raise money to fund such essential research.
