I'm taking part in Walk For A Cure
I'm taking part in Walk For A Cure because our family has and is on the dementia journey with my dad. It is truly a roller coaster of emotions for everyone involved. After a long time caring for dad at home, he is now in the best nursing home Trinity House
He is well cared for and kept as occupied as he is able to be. Although this gives us some comfort the illness can only be described as horrific. As a family we want to support the experts to move forward with any kind of cure/ support for the illness which will help families in the future.
