Walk For A Cure - Edinburgh

Walk for Dad

I'm taking part in Walk For A Cure because I want to help end the devastation of dementia. I will be walking 5K on 26th July at Holyrood Park, Edinburgh.

Unfortunately, I recently lost my beloved father, Mohammed Younus Sait, to this disease, which was a huge loss for me. I never want anyone to endure the distress this caused my family, and the pain it inflicted on my dad too, which is what motivated me to organise this fundraiser in hopes of advancing the progress of research in this field. I’ll be walking with my father, as well as all of those whose families that have been impacted by this disease, in mind.

Alzheimer's Research UK is the UK's leading dementia research charity, dedicated to finding a cure. All donations on this page will go directly to charity.

Research is our only chance of stopping dementia in its tracks and offering hope to the many families affected.

Your donation will fuel cutting-edge research that could uncover new life-changing treatments, bringing us closer to a cure.

Thank you for your support.
