Walking for Lola

Walking in Loving Memory of David’s mum Lola. This year, we’re taking on a 5K walk to raise money for Alzheimer’s Research UK in loving memory of the wonderful Lola.
Watching someone you love live with Alzheimer’s is heartbreaking. It doesn’t just affect the person diagnosed—it touches every member of the family. They saw first-hand how this cruel disease slowly stole precious memories, changed everyday life, and left them wishing there was more that could be done.
Lola was so much more than her illness. She was loving, caring, and brought warmth and laughter to those around her. We want this walk to celebrate her life, remember the incredible person she was, and help create hope for other families facing the same journey.
Every donation, no matter the size, will support vital research to improve treatments and, one day, find a cure for Alzheimer’s. If our fundraising can help spare even one family from experiencing what we did, then every step we take will be worthwhile.
