I'm taking part in Walk For A Cure
I am taking part in Walk For A Cure because I want to help support families living with dementia as my family did.
My grandpa lived with dementia for the final years of his life and it was awful to watch him deteriorate into a shell of his former self, and even worse when he began to forget who me and my family were. He died very recently which made me all the more keen to do this walk and prevent other families from experiencing the effects of this horrible disease. - Hannah
Alzheimer's Research UK is the UK's leading dementia research charity, dedicated to finding a cure. I want to support this and help them as much as possible to achieve their goal.
Research is our only chance of stopping dementia in its tracks and offering hope to the many families affected.
