We are taking part in Walk For A Cure in support of Alzheimer’s Research UK, a cause that is incredibly close to our hearts. We are doing this walk for one special man, to us a dad, grandad and great grandad who has been living with dementia for a long time. Watching someone you love struggle with this cruel disease is heartbreaking, and we want to do something meaningful to help support research into finding better treatments and one day, a cure. Dementia doesn’t just affect the person diagnosed — it affects the whole family. Through this fundraiser, we hope to raise awareness as well as money for the amazing work Alzheimer’s Research UK does.
