I'm taking part in Walk For A Cure
I'm taking part in Walk For A Cure because I want to help end the devastation of dementia.
Alzheimer's Research UK is the UK's leading dementia research charity, dedicated to finding a cure.
Research is our only chance of stopping dementia in its tracks and offering hope to the many families affected.
Alzheimer’s disease is more than just a condition to me—it’s something that has touched the heart of my family every single day for the past eight years.
My grandmother is my best friend. She is the most amazing lady I have ever known, and I have been lucky enough to spend so much of my life loving and learning from her. Watching Alzheimer’s slowly take pieces of the person you love is one of the hardest things imaginable. It doesn’t just affect memories; it affects conversations, independence, confidence, and so many of the little moments that make someone who they are.
Over the last eight years, I have seen firsthand how devastating this disease can be—not only for the person living with it, but for the family who walk beside them every day. Alzheimer’s changes lives, challenges families, and leaves many feeling helpless.
That is why this walk means so much to me.
I am walking in honour of my grandmother, and for every family who has experienced the heartbreak of Alzheimer’s. By raising money, spreading awareness, and supporting research, we can help bring hope to those affected today and move closer to a future where no family has to watch a loved one suffer with this horrible disease
Every donation, no matter the size, makes a difference. Thank you for supporting this cause, for helping raise awareness, and for standing with families like mine. Together, we can help create a world with better treatments, better support, and one day, a cure.
This walk is for my grandmother—and for everyone affected by Alzheimer’s.
Your donation will fuel cutting-edge research that could uncover new life-changing treatments, bringing us closer to a cure.
Thank you for your support.
