I'm taking part in Walk For A Cure because I want to help end the pain of dementia having first hand experience of the devastation it can cause.
Alzheimer's Research UK is the UK's leading dementia research charity, dedicated to finding a cure.
Research is our only chance of stopping dementia in its tracks and offering hope to the many families affected. I would love it if families in the future do not have to go through the heartbreak we are currently processing.
Your donation will fuel cutting-edge research that could uncover new life-changing treatments, bringing us closer to a cure.

Saturday 8th Aug Honestly, Alzheimer’s has to be the cruelest of diseases. I cannot put into words the heartbreak it causes but I know there are millions of families who are dealing with or. caring for someone with dementia. It is more than likely that you will know someone who already has or will contract this illness in the future and finding a cure is imperative. It is too late for my beloved man but just by raising awareness and putting this front and centre of medical research maybe future generations will be spared xx ShareThank you to my Sponsors
