I'm taking part in Walk For A Cure
I'm taking part in Walk For A Cure because I am seeing the devastating impact this cruel illness is having on my dad.
As many of you know, dad was diagnosed a number of years ago now but the last year or so has seen a real increase in his symptoms and side effects. If you knew my dad, you could not imagine what this disease has done to him as he is not dad anymore (although we do see the odd reminder of his former self on a good day!)
Alzheimer's Research UK is the UK's leading dementia research charity, dedicated to finding a cure.
Research is our only chance of stopping dementia in its tracks and offering hope to the many families affected.
