I'm taking part in Walk For A Cure in memory of our dad, Albert Knowd.
I'm taking part because I want to help Alzheimer’s Research UK fund their research and find a cure.
We lost our lovely dad to this disease a few short years ago but we were very lucky that he didn’t lose the twinkle in his eye right to the end. I know many families aren’t so lucky and have to cope with losing the person’s personality as well as everything else.
Thank you for your support.
So far, Sam has helped fund 12 hours of essential lab time for our amazing scientists.
