Why am I doing the Walk for Cure

Saturday 16th May
As a Geriatrics doctor, I witness the profound impact of dementia on patients and their families daily, which deeply affects me. This daily exposure fuels my passion to seek new avenues and research opportunities to better understand and combat this challenging condition. I am driven to contribute to advancements that can alleviate suffering and improve the quality of life for those affected by dementia. My participation is a commitment to finding hope and solutions for a future where dementia is more manageable and, ultimately, preventable. I believe collaborative efforts are key to unlocking breakthroughs in this critical area of medicine.
