Walking for Family, Hope & a Cure 💜

Saturday 16th May

I’m proud to be taking part in the 5K Walk For A Cure alongside my partner and the McLean family to raise money for Alzheimer’s and dementia research.
Although they are my in-laws, this journey has deeply affected me too. I’ve seen the heartbreak dementia causes to a family and the impact it has on the people you love most.
We sadly lost Mum inlaw before Alzheimer’s could fully take her, and now Dad inlaw is living with vascular dementia and Alzheimer’s. Seeing someone you care about go through this cruel illness is incredibly difficult, which is why this walk means so much to all of us.
I’m walking to support my family, honour precious memories, and help raise money for vital research into better treatments and hopefully one day a cure.
Every donation, no matter how small, helps support the fight against Alzheimer’s and dementia and gives hope to families facing the same battle.
