Last year, our family received news that quietly changed everything - my nan had been diagnosed with Alzheimer’s.
She has always been the heart of our family, and she still is. Watching someone you love begin to struggle is extremely hard to put into words. Alzheimer’s doesn’t just affect one person it can slowly reshape a family. The little things I once took for granted mean so much more now.
I’m taking part in a walk for a cure for my nan and for every family navigating the impact of dementia.
