I'm taking part in Walk For A Cure
I’m taking part in Walk For A Cure because dementia isn’t just something I’ve seen...it’s something my Mum lives with every day.
My mum is living with Alzheimer’s, and despite everything this disease has taken, she continues to show strength, love, and moments of pure happiness. She inspires me constantly, and she’s the reason I’m so passionate about changing the way we understand and support people living with dementia.
I also work closely with people and families affected by dementia, so I see first-hand the impact it has...not just on individuals, but on everyone who loves them.
That’s why I’m supporting Alzheimer’s Research UK, the UK’s leading dementia research charity, dedicated to finding a cure.
Research is our best hope of stopping dementia in its tracks and creating a future where no family has to go through this.
If you’re able to donate, you’ll be helping fund vital research that could lead to life-changing treatments...and one day, a cure.
