Accessibility
The fully signposted route is mostly on hardstanding path with smaller sections on grass or grit paths with occasional tree roots.
The 3km route is accessible for pushchairs and wheelchairs.

There will be volunteer marshals along the route and rest stops to support you if needed.

Dogs are welcome but must remain on a lead at all times.
Facilities
Event toilets (including accessible ones) are available next to the event village and rest-stops along the walk.
Food and drink is available to purchase within the event village. You are also welcome to bring your own refreshments.
How to get here
It was great to take part in the Walk For A Cure event and see so many people coming together determined to make their contribution to finding a cure for dementia. Participants included people living with a dementia, their carers and people, like me, remembering loved ones who had died with dementia. It was inspirational to see so many traveling many miles to raise money to fund such essential research.
- John Hirst, walking in memory of his beloved wife, Pat
- Barry Gray, who is living with dementia
- Jacky Schloss, walking in honour of her parents who have both been impacted by dementia.
- Dr Helen Beaumont, a dementia researcher, walking in memory of her husband, Clive
