I'm taking part in Walk For A Cure in memory of my Grandad.
I am taking part in Walk For A Cure to support dementia research and help fund support for families, like mine, with loved ones who have or are living with dementia.
My Grandad suffered from dementia and lost his later years and eventually his life to this horrible disease. Although he may have lost his precious family memories we always remember him. In doing this walk we are honouring him, remembering him and fighting for what he lost.
We are doing this to honour my Grandad Andy as a family, however if you would like to donate please do!
So far, Katie has helped fund 2 hours of essential lab time for our amazing scientists.
