We are taking part in Walk For A Cure

Hi All,

My Nan and I are taking part in ‘Walk For A Cure for Alzheimer’s’, a charity very close to our hearts. For everyone who knows me, will know how close I was to my Grandad and how much he meant to me, and how much I also meant to him. He was a huge part of my upbringing, he gave me the best childhood and shaped me into the woman I am today. The loss to our family has been huge, a hole that will never be replaced, a magical marriage that lasted 65 years to date - a real achievement and a partnership that we all dream of.

We are competing this walk because we want to help end the devastation of dementia and the trauma that it leaves behind.
