Walk For A Cure - Leeds

I'm taking part in Walk For A Cure

We are taking part in Walk for a Cure to raise money for dementia, a cause that has become very personal to us as a family.

Our grandad is currently living with dementia. Watching someone you love slowly change because of this illness is incredibly hard. Dementia doesn’t just affect the person diagnosed – it affects the whole family. It takes memories, independence, and little pieces of the person you’ve always known.

We’re doing this walk for him. For the memories he’s given us, the stories he’s told, the laughs we’ve shared, and the love he’s always shown us. We want to do something positive in the middle of something so difficult.

By taking part in Walk for a Cure, we hope to raise money to support research, improve care, and bring us one step closer to a world where no family has to watch someone they love suffer from dementia.

Every donation, share, and bit of support means so much to us. Thank you for helping us walk for our grandad — and for a cure. 🧡
