Me and my family are taking part in Walk For A Cure
My family and I are taking part in Walk For A Cure to help support the fight against dementia.
Alongside my husband, our two young children (aged 6 and 4), and my mum, we are coming together to raise money and awareness for a cause that means so much to us.
Dementia affects so many families, and by taking part, we hope to play a small part in supporting research and care for those living with this condition
Alzheimer's Research UK is the UK's leading dementia research charity, dedicated to finding a cure.
Research is our only chance of stopping dementia in its tracks and offering hope to the many families affected.
Your donation will fuel cutting-edge research that could uncover new life-changing treatments, bringing us closer to a cure.
Thank you for your support.
So far, Emma has helped fund 25 hours of essential lab time for our amazing scientists.

The reason
Thursday 9th AprMy husband, our two children (aged 4 and 6), my mum, and I will be taking part in this walk in support of families affected by dementia, including our own, as our children’s nanna is living with Alzheimer’s.
We are raising money for Alzheimer’s in support of those affected by this devastating condition.
This fundraiser was inspired by my 6-year-old daughter, who wanted to make a difference after seeing first-hand how Alzheimer’s can impact someone close to her. What began as a simple idea has grown into a meaningful effort to support a cause that affects so many families.
Alzheimer’s is a progressive illness that not only impacts those living with it, but also the people who care for and love them. It can be incredibly challenging, bringing emotional, practical, and financial difficulties. By raising funds, we hope to contribute towards vital research, improved care, and greater awareness.
Every donation, no matter the size, will help support ongoing efforts to better understand Alzheimer’s and work towards more effective treatments and, one day, a cure.
Thank you for taking the time to visit this page and for any support you are able to give.
