As a researcher at the UK Dementia Research Institute, I see first-hand the impact dementia has on individuals and families — and the incredible potential that scientific breakthroughs hold for changing lives.
This year, my husband, our son, and I are taking part in Walk For A Cure to raise vital funds for Alzheimer’s Research UK, the UK’s leading dementia research charity.
We’re walking for all the families affected by this heartbreaking condition, and for a future where dementia no longer steals memories, independence, and lives.
