I'm taking part in Walk For A Cure because I want to help end the devastation of dementia.

Alzheimer's Research UK is the UK's leading dementia research charity, dedicated to finding a cure.

Research is our only chance of stopping dementia in its tracks and offering hope to the many families affected. 

We have watched our Grampa Jim deteriorate with Alzheimer’s over the last 2 years. I am doing this walk with my Sister and two cousins to try and raise as much money as possible to contribute. He has always been one of our biggest supporters and I know if he understood what he had and what we were doing he would be really proud. 💙

Hopefully this charity will help find a cure for either our generations or our children’s 🤞🏼

Wish I could give more but I am currently not working, but wanted to donate. My grandad passed away back in 1990 with this awful disease and it's so heartbreaking to watch someone you love and admire detiorate before your eyes, so I understand completely what you are going through and if this small amount helps in anyway, and I hope it does.
