Hi everyone. We have decided as a family to participate in the Alzheimer’s Walk for a cure. We will be doing this in honour of our much loved husband/father/grandad/great-grandad/father in law/friend John Murray, who will be turning 80 years old on Saturday.
John was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s back in 2019, with years of struggles leading to this day. John has been receiving the best care in a care home, since December 2025. We want to do our bit and raise as much money as possible to help future families avoid experiencing such difficult times with their loved ones. Any donations are very much appreciated 🫶🏼

We're taking part in Walk For A Cure because every 3 minutes dementia steals a happily ever after. Research is our only chance of changing the ending for people affected by dementia.
Alzheimer's Research UK are the UK's leading dementia research charity. They exist for a cure.
Your donation helps scientists and researchers find new ways to diagnose dementia, develop new treatments and find a cure for dementia.
So far, Team Murray have helped fund 29 hours of essential lab time for our amazing scientists
