Lud’s Church Walk | August 16th

Sunday 9th Aug
As a family, my stepdad and my sisters and the children, are going to do the Lud’s Church Circular Walk (around 4.8km). 

Last Summer, this time last year, mum seemed totally fine despite her restless legs and being a little unsteady on her feet. We had no idea that would be the last Summer we would spend together. 

Mum was eventually diagnosed with Sporadic CJD, a very rare fatal form of dementia. She passed away on November 11th 2025. 

Two years before we had lost our Nan to dementia, and before that our Grandad.

We are raising money so we can help contribute to finding the cure for this dreadful disease.
