Why I Am Doing The Walk…

Friday 3rd Jul

I’m taking part in this Memory Walk in loving memory of my grandad, who we sadly lost to Alzheimer’s.

Watching someone you love slowly lose their memories, their independence, and parts of who they are is incredibly difficult. Alzheimer’s doesn’t just affect the person living with it—it has a profound impact on everyone who loves them.

I’m doing this walk to honour my grandad, celebrate the wonderful memories we shared, and help raise money for vital research, support, and care for those affected by this devastating disease. Every donation, no matter how big or small, will make a real difference and brings us one step closer to a world where no family has to go through what ours did.
