I'm taking part in Walk For A Cure and for a very loved husband, dad and pops!!!
I'm taking part in Walk For A Cure because I want to help end the devastation of dementia.
Unfortunately in 2024 a very much loved husband,dad and Pops was diagnosed with Lewy Body dementia syndrome and the affect it has had on him already has been tremendous, so this is why we want to do the 5km walk, in honour of him and the services that can help with this disease.
Alzheimer's Research UK is the UK's leading dementia research charity, dedicated to finding a cure.
Research is our only chance of stopping dementia in its tracks and offering hope to the many families affected.
