I'm walking for my mum 🥰
My lovely mum was diagnosed with dementia in May 2024.
The changes were subtle at first, a bit forgetful, and more relaxed in personality.
Her sense of humour was free all of a sudden and she laughed more. It was a time of mixed emotions for both of us.
Her only wish "I hope something else gets me, before I forget who you are"
She got her wish, but I miss her every day.
