Walk For A Cure - Peak District

I'm taking part in Walk For A Cure in memory of my mum

I'm taking part in Walk For A Cure because I want to help end the devastation of dementia. This disease has affected my family and I hope that in the future, other families will not see the impact of this disease on their loved ones.

Last year my mum unexpectedly passed away. She developed early onset Alzheimer's disease in her late 50s. Whilst she passed away before she lost the memories of her family and friends, her initial diagnosis and the development of the disease had a significant effect on her life.

Research is our only chance of stopping dementia in its tracks and offering hope to the many families affected.

Your donation will fuel cutting-edge research that could uncover new life-changing treatments, bringing us closer to a cure.

Thank you for your support.
