I'm taking part in Walk For A Cure
I'm taking part in Walk For A Cure because I want to help end the devastation of dementia.
Alzheimer's Research UK is the UK's leading dementia research charity, dedicated to finding a cure.
Research is our only chance of stopping dementia in its tracks and offering hope to the many families affected.
Your donation will fuel cutting-edge research that could uncover new life-changing treatments, bringing us closer to a cure.
Thank you for your support.
So far, Maria-Cristina has helped fund 0 hours of essential lab time for our amazing scientists.

Our First Walk for a Cure
Wednesday 10th JunThis is our first year taking part in Walk for a Cure Birmingham for Alzheimer’s Research UK, and it already means so much to us as a team.
Alzheimer’s and dementia do not just affect one person , they touch whole families, friendships, and communities. They take away memories, familiar voices, shared stories, and precious everyday moments that many of us wish we could hold onto forever.
That is why we are walking.
We walk for the people living with dementia today.
We walk for the families who are caring, hoping, and hurting.
We walk for those we have lost.
And we walk because we believe research can bring us closer to a future where no family has to go through this pain.
As this is our first year, every bit of support means the world to us. Every donation, every share, and every kind message helps us keep going and helps fund vital research through Alzheimer’s Research UK.
To everyone who has already donated, supported us, shared our page, or sent kind words: thank you from the bottom of our hearts. Your generosity means more than we can truly put into words.
Please support our team as we take our first steps together, for love, for memories, for hope, and for a cure.
