Walking for a Future Without Dementia

Saturday 13th Jun

As a healthcare professional, I have spent many years caring for people living with dementia. I have witnessed first-hand the impact this devastating condition has on individuals and their families. Behind every diagnosis is a person who slowly loses memories, independence, and often the ability to recognise the people they love most.


Working closely with people affected by dementia has shown me both the challenges they face and the incredible strength of their families and carers. Dementia does not just affect one person – it affects entire families, communities, and future generations.


That is why I am taking part in this walk to support Alzheimer’s Research UK. Every step we take helps raise awareness and supports vital research that could lead to better treatments, improved care, and one day a cure.


Please support this cause if you can. Together, we can help create a future where fewer families have to experience the heartbreak of dementia.
