Walk for a Cure - Poole

I'm taking part in Walk For A Cure

I'm taking part in Walk For A Cure because I want to help end the devastation of dementia.

My dad was diagnosed with dementia in 2020 and slowly is forgetting more and more each day. We are very grateful that he still knows all of his immediate family, but day to day things like making a cup of tea are now behind him. My dad was independent and such a great character before this diagnosis and slowly watching my hero become someone else has been heartbreaking for me and the rest of our family. My mum does such an amazing job, although her tolerance has been pushed at times. If we could help any other family to slow down dementia so they have longer with a family member we will do all that we can. So on that note me, Lillie-rose and Gracie-mae are taking on this challenge.

Your donation will fuel cutting-edge research that could uncover new life-changing treatments, bringing us closer to a cure.

Thank you so much everyone for your support.
