I'm taking part in Walk For A Cure
I'm taking part in Walk For A Cure because I want to help end the devastation of dementia.
Mum died last summer and it was so upsetting to see the long and slow decline in her health. The last 3 years were particularly hard. It’s devastating to see the person you love completely change from one day to the next and then not even know who you are.
We really must find a cure for this terrible disease. My sister and I are looking forward to doing the walk and meeting people who are or who have gone through a similar situation to us.
