For Grandad
On July 5th, we will be taking part in a 5km walk through Ally Pally to raise awareness and support the fight against Alzheimer’s.
We are walking in memory of my great grandmother, who sadly passed away last year, and for my grandad, who is currently battling Alzheimer’s. Our goal is not only to raise money towards finding a cure and spreading greater awareness and understanding of this disease, but also to help ensure families receive the information, guidance, and support they deserve when caring for a loved one with Alzheimer’s.
Although my grandad won’t be able to walk the 5km with us, he will be there at the start and finish line cheering us on with love, care, and pride — the same love, care, and respect he has always shown us, and that we will always have for him.
He may not always remember, but we will never forget that he is our hero. Always and forever.
So far, Hollie has helped fund 0 hours of essential lab time for our amazing scientists.
