Dementia is historically and currently considered underfunded relative to its scale and impact. My beautiful, vibrant Nanny was diagnosed with dementia and fought a long battle, with admirable strength, until she passed away in January 2026. This year, Walk for a Cure is taking place at a park where I have found many hours of comfort and peace. Please sponsor me for a particularly special walk on June 7th.
