I'm taking part in a walk for a cure

I'm taking part in Walk For A Cure because I want to help end the devastation of dementia.

Last year i lost my nan to this awful disease, i watched her deteriorate within a few years, and become a shell of her old self, up until she couldn't even recognise who i was, thats the part that hurt the most. I wanted to comfort her in her last few days, but how can you comfort someone that doesn't even know who you are.  I feel no one should ever have to experience a life like my nans, and also the family and friends that have to watch them fade away, i never thought i would have to experience this ever in my life.

I am hoping that by doing this walk i can raise even just a small amount to contribute to the research of this disease and help the families affected by this, so please donate as little or as much as possible. Lets do something small to make a big difference. Lets find a cure 🤞
