Since being a carer I have seen the devasting impact that dementia has on both families the person affect and people caring for them.
Dementia diagnosis are dramatically increasing without a known cause, as to what causes the onset delaying further effective treatment. The umbrella term for a collection of symptoms caused by various underlying brain diseases and conditions are still so prevalent.
My aim for doing this walk is to help spread awareness over dementia and contribute to research with donations acquired.
