I'm taking part in Walk For A Cure because I want to help end the devastation of dementia for my grandma & our family 

Alzheimer's Research UK is the UK's leading dementia research charity, dedicated to finding a cure.

Our family has been though so much pain, our  grandma is battling dementia in a care home and it’s just so sad she’s not the grandma she used to be it’s so horrible to see her slipping away in front of our eyes 

Research is our only chance of stopping dementia in its tracks and offering hope to the many families affected.

My grandma has been battling dementia for the past 4years & she’s currently in a care home 
I would say it’s completely shocked our family and it’s been devastating to see the woman who is so clever and bubbly and chatty just slip away in front of your eyes is heartbreaking 

Anything I can do to help riaise money to find a cure for this horrible dibilataing disease
