My 5km Walk for Alzheimer’s – One Step Closer to a Cure
Tuesday 9th JunThis year, I’m taking on a 5km walk for Alzheimer’s—and for me, it’s about so much more than just the distance.
Alzheimer’s is a disease that touches so many lives. It doesn’t just affect the person diagnosed; it impacts families, friends, and entire communities. Watching someone you love lose their memories and parts of who they are is incredibly difficult. That’s why I’ve decided to do something positive and be part of the fight to find a cure.
I’m walking to raise awareness, to support those living with Alzheimer’s, and to help fund the research that could one day end this disease. Every step I take is for the people affected—those who are battling it, those who care for them, and those we’ve sadly lost.
