I'm taking part in Walk For A Cure
I’m taking part in Walk For A Cure because dementia has touched my life in the most personal way, and I want to help bring an end to its devastation.
My mum lived with this cruel illness, and I saw its impact every day — on her, and on so many others in her nursing home. When I completed the walk last year, I proudly showed her my medal. I’ll never forget that moment. I couldn’t have known she would be gone just a month later. We lost her last October, and now I walk in her memory — for my beautiful mum, and for everyone affected by dementia.
Alzheimer’s Research UK is the UK’s leading dementia research charity, dedicated to finding a cure. Research is our strongest hope of stopping dementia and changing the future for millions of families.
Your donation fuels groundbreaking research and brings us closer to life‑changing treatments.
Thank you — your support truly means so much.
So far, Raj has helped fund 4 hours of essential lab time for our amazing scientists.
