I'm taking part in Walk For A Cure
I'm taking part in Walk For A Cure because I want to help end the devastation of dementia.
Recently, my Nan was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s, and it’s something that has completely changed our lives.
Watching someone you love slowly lose their memories and parts of who they are is incredibly hard. Alzheimer’s doesn’t just affect the person diagnosed—it affects everyone around them. It makes you realise how precious even the smallest moments really are.
This June, I’ll be taking part in a charity walk to raise money for Alzheimer’s research and support.
If you’re able to donate, even the smallest amount would mean so much. Every contribution helps make a difference. And if you can’t donate, simply sharing this post would really help spread awareness.
I’m doing this for my Nan 💙
And for everyone else facing this disease.
Thank you so much for your support.
So far, Brook has helped fund 11 hours of essential lab time for our amazing scientists.

Why I’m doing this ❤️

Watching someone you love slowly lose their memories and parts of who they are is incredibly hard. Alzheimer’s doesn’t just affect the person diagnosed—it affects everyone around them. It makes you realise how precious even the smallest moments really are.
I know that raising money now may not change what my Nan is going through. But if I can help someone else—another family, another person—have more time, more memories, or even contribute towards finding better treatments or a cure, then it makes all this worth it.
