Iām taking park in walk for a cure
Thursday 24th AprIām taking part in the Alzheimerās Walk to honor my Grandad, who is currently living with Alzheimerās. Heās always been such a big part of my lifeāgentle, funny, and full of love for his family. Some of my favorite memories are just sitting with him, listening to his stories or watching how he could fix just about anything. Even now, despite the challenges that come with Alzheimerās, his kindness and strength are still there. Itās difficult seeing the changes and knowing how frustrating and confusing things must feel for him at times. But he continues to face each day with resilience, and that inspires me more than I can say. Iām walking for himāto show my support, to raise awareness, and to help fund research so that one day, families like mine wonāt have to watch someone they love go through this.
