Walk For A Cure - Peak District

I'm taking part in Walk For A Cure

I'm taking part in Walk For A Cure because I want to help end the devastation of dementia.

Alzheimer's Research UK is the UK's leading dementia research charity, dedicated to finding a cure.

Research is our only chance of stopping dementia in its tracks and offering hope to the many families affected.

Your donation will fuel cutting-edge research that could uncover new life-changing treatments, bringing us closer to a cure.

Thank you for your support.

My Updates

It’s a personal challenge for me too

Tuesday 17th Mar
I’m sitting here in my favourite chair in my lounge feeling a little low, a little sore and in pain. It’s only a week tomorrow since I had a total knee replacement with a realignment of the knee.
I, with my team, took part in the 21km walk at Ditchley Park, Cotswolds last year.
This time I thought we’d try the Peak District and there’s no better incentive, or cause than  the Alzeimers one to raise the much needed funds.  It will also go a long way to reinforcing my confidence of my own ability at 75 to walk for a cure just like last year.
So come on everyone let’s keep walking for that cure.
