I'm taking part in Walk For A Cure because I want to help end the devastation of dementia.

I am an Occupational Therapy student and I have worked in many different care homes and hospitals with people who have dementia. I used to be a student nurse during Covid, witnessing the other side of life. Many of the people living with dementia can be treated, not just managed.

Alzheimer's Research UK is the UK's leading dementia research charity, dedicated to finding a cure.

Research is our only chance of stopping dementia in its tracks and offering hope to the many families affected.
