Taking steps to stop dementia in its tracks

Monday 19th May

My sister and I are taking part in Walk For A Cure in Poole on Sunday 22nd June because we want to help end the devastation of dementia.  It’s not an ultra marathon or a mountain climb but a gentle walk of solidarity for all abilities. Some of those walking may not even remember that they have done it.

All of us at some time in our lives will know someone suffering from dementia. Alzheimer's Research UK is the UK's leading dementia research charity, dedicated to finding a cure.

Research is our only chance of stopping dementia in its tracks and offering hope to the many families affected.
