Alisa and Romy are taking part in Walk For A Cure in memory of Alisa's father and Romy's grandfather, Alexei.
Romy has never met her Grandfather because he passed away in 2012 at the age of 63 from dementia. Prior to that, Alexei spent torturous few years battling the disease.
We are taking part in Walk For A Cure because we want to help end the devastation of dementia.
Alzheimer's Research UK is the UK's leading dementia research charity, dedicated to finding a cure.
Research is our only chance of stopping dementia in its tracks and offering hope to the many families affected.
