I'm taking part in Walk For A Cure because I want to help end the devastation of dementia.

Alzheimer's Research UK is the UK's leading dementia research charity, dedicated to finding a cure.

Research is our only chance of stopping dementia in its tracks and offering hope to the many families affected.Ā

Your donation will fuel cutting-edge research that could uncover new life-changing treatments, bringing us closer to a cure.Ā

My Updates

Grandad Andrewā¤ļø

Thursday 24th Apr
My Grandad was a wonderful and caring man. He was no doubt a family man and a true Gent. My grandad was diagnosed with Dementia a few years before he passed away in 2012, it was upsetting seeing this man I loved become a shell of his former self, it was hard especially for our family in that time has there wasn't alot of research about that we could understand his struggles with the disease, he was forgetting people, family, and reverting back to his younger days. He was in a nursing home the last few years of his life and it was heart breaking seeing him become so dependent on others for help, he was a proud man and often would do alot of things independently till he was diagnosed with the disease that would affect his brain.Ā

This is why I am doing this walk to help people going though the same hardships that we has a family had to face. So please sponsor me and help fight this battle xx
