Walk For A Cure - Edinburgh

We're taking part in Walk For A Cure

Ayla, Isla & I are taking part in Walk For A Cure for Ayla & I’s GD.

Watching someone you love slowly lose pieces of themselves is something I wouldn’t wish on anyone. Our grandad is still here, still singing and still part of our lives, but Alzheimer’s has changed so much. Moments we once took for granted now feel incredibly precious.

Alzheimer’s doesn’t just affect one person, it impacts whole families. It brings grief, heartbreak and challenges that are hard to put into words.

We are raising money for Alzheimer’s Research UK to help fund vital research into better treatments, earlier diagnosis and hopefully one day a cure. Every donation, no matter how small, contributes to progress and gives hope to millions of families facing this disease.

If you’re able to donate or share this, it would mean so much to me and my family. Let’s work towards a future where no one has to watch a loved one fade away from Alzheimer’s 💛

Beautiful sentiments, I agree something has to be done so many families are going through these sad times. It breaks my heart to see my brother and his very special family have to cope with this everyday.
