I'm taking part in Walk For A Cure
I'm taking part in Walk For A Cure because I want to help end the devastation of dementia. On 20th September my sister and I are walking 34km at the Cotswold Walk.
Alzheimer's Research UK is the UK's leading dementia research charity, dedicated to finding a cure.
This year we lost our incredible Grandmother Tove to Alzheimer’s.
Anyone who knows someone affected by this disease knows how devastating it is to watch the person you have known and loved slowly be stripped away.
In her final days, our Grandma Tove was surrounded by those that loved her, sharing stories and reminiscing about the incredible life she had before Alzheimer’s took her from us.
We are walking in her memory and to help raise funds to hopefully find a cure and stop others suffering the same.
